After cancellation of the Bissett’s annual neighborhood-wide “Yard-Zale” in 2020 due to COVID-19, we were pleased to hold the event again this past July 17. With 24 homes participating, it was a great way for many to find new homes for their surplus belongings, and of course make a little money. Some young children of one participant got the entrepreneurship bug and put up a beverage stand and did quite well, no doubt aided by the hot temperature that day! In addition, many enjoyed conversation and laughs with customers from across the city. BNA benefitted with about a half dozen new memberships.
