We’ve had some snow, much to the delight of children – perhaps more than most adults! The new year brings familiar tasks like tax filing, insurance updates and dealing with the effects of cold weather. This is the time when batteries die, tires wear out, and homes face extra stress from the cold.
After the holiday rush, hopefully, we’ve all had a chance to slow down a bit. This season is also packed with sports tournaments and performances for our children. These events help them grow and create great memories for families, so let’s support them as much as we can.
January and February brought colder weather than usual, but Missouri’s unpredictable climate means we’ll still see some nice days ahead. Take advantage of them to get outside, clean up and improve our outdoor spaces. A little effort makes our neighborhood safer, cleaner and more inviting. We are NORTHSIDERS, and we can take pride in our NEIGHBORHOOD!
Animal Control has been more present in our neighborhood due to increased reports of loose dogs, some of which have been aggressive. Please keep your pets contained or leashed, and clean up after them when out on walks. A responsible pet owner means a safer, happier community.
