A $3.8 million project to add turn lanes and guardrail, widen existing turn lanes and resurface asphalt is under way at West Bypass and Kearney Street. The project will be complete by December, weather permitting.
The work will be done during both daytime and nighttime hours to reduce the traffic impacts, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.
West Bypass will receive a new asphalt driving surface between I-44 and James River Freeway and new guardrail in certain areas once the intersection improvements are complete.
