We are looking forward to a really good year. We are planning for many more events this year. Donna Clarkson will host our next event on April 15 for our Cherokee Street Adopt-A-Street project which will be followed by coffee and scones at the Dancing Mule.
Meador Park is the site for the CITYWIDE KICKBALL TOURNAMENT April 23 with a rain date of April 30. Most all of the planning is finished – we just keep meeting because we have a good time, watch the Facebook Group SGF Kickball for details. You do not have to have a full team to participate, just come over to Meador Park by noon and we will do some matching to make teams. This is fairly non-competitive; we will be playing with children and adults on the same team, on the field at the time.
We are looking for neighbors willing to host small “block party” type events, if this is something that you would be interested in doing, let us know
Our neighborhood will be hosting the Annual Garage Sale June 9 and 10.
