For those who need fresh and FREE groceries for themselves or their neighbors- PLEASE come to The Fairbanks Community Center from 4pm-6pm on Thursdays in June, 1126 N Broadway Avenue.
To keep things running smoothly- please only approach the Fairbanks from Broadway Avenue- and don’t block neighbors driveways.
You are allowed to bring neighbors in your vehicles for food as well. Units of food is provided by households represented. If you are picking up food for a neighbor, please let us know ahead of pickup so we know how many bags to give to each car!
Drew Lewis Foundation provides groceries to everyone with no requirements and Life360 Fairbanks provides extra food and snacks for children if you have any.
There may be long lines, so be prepared to wait as we try to serve every person that we can. If you want to potentially reduce wait time, consider coming at 3:30 to be first in line or after 5 so we can spread out the volume.
