Summer was a good time! From “Adopt-a-Street” and Coffee at the Dancing Mule organized by Donna Clarkson to National Night Out with Christine Fish setting us up for our guests to blow bubbles in the breeze.

136th District Rep. Stephanie Hein reviewed the 2022/23 Missouri legislative session and visited with us while we enjoyed an ice cream treat. Rep. Hein also brought copies of the Missouri House of Representatives publication for CHILDREN “DO YOU KNOW MO.”

We have a great fall lined up with BOO-NANZA on Saturday,Oct. 21 (rain date Oct. 28), this event will be 2-4 p.m. at the Cowden Elementary School parking lot. Our Ghostly DJ Jason Gish will be returning this year with his spooky music. We have added Dena, The Balloon Lady along with a bounce house AND City Parks and other surprises.

WEAR YOUR OWN BEST COSTUME and join this event with your BEST DRESSED DOGGIE for the PARADE. There will be prizes.

We are looking into a really big surprise for a holiday event and looking a little further into the future: Citywide Neighborhood KICKBALL will return in the spring. Who would like to be on the team??

VERY GOOD NEWS: Neighborhood Clean-up (dumpster day) is returning to a Saturday in the spring – there will NOT be a fall clean-up.

As you see we are in need of many, many volunteers for these special events, join us and let’s get acquainted. You can also check us out on Facebook
