Westside Neighborhood Betterment Association would like to welcome our new business neighbor, Trailer Perk Coffee, which recently opened in in a mint-green building with a pink flamingo at 2848 W. Chestnut Expressway at the site of the original Red’s Giant Hamburg.
Owner Amber Ottoson was recently quoted in the Springfield Daily Citizen as saying “my ‘white coffee’ has a unique flavor by barely roasting the beans.” White coffee is popular in the Pacific Northwest, where Amber is originally from, so Amber is “bringing a little bit of the Northwest to the Midwest.” Check out trailerperkcoffee.com to see the many different varieties of drinks and food. Amber resides on the west side of Springfield. When looking for properties for Trailer Perk Coffee, she wanted to be close to home, and the old Red’s site fit the bill.
