Nordic Landing, a 41-unit, 40,000-square-foot affordable housing apartment complex at 810 W. Catalpa Street, will welcome its first residents soon, according to its Facebook page. The property is right off of the Grant Avenue Parkway corridor and will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments with vinyl plank flooring, full-sized kitchen appliances, open floor plans and washer/dryer hookups. The complex’s amenities include a community room with programming, computer/media area and playground. Tenants’ household incomes must be 30% to 60% below the U.S. Housing & Urban Development (HUD)-defined Median Family Income.
