Ruth Eileen Cantrell, age 62, of Springfield, passed away on May 19 at Mercy Hospital. Ruth was born to Gerald and Patricia (Leigh) Tirres on Nov. 29, 1961 in San Bernardino, California. Ruth was a member of the Grant Beach Neighborhood Association. She loved life and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Patricia (Leigh). She is survived by her spouse Keith Cantrell; daughter Misty Lashley; son Ricky Lashley and his wife, Kristina; daughter Ruby Cooley, and her husband, Curtis; daughter Sapphire Cantrell and her husband Sammy; Jade Puckett; and Xeaver Davis; sister Terry Waits; brother Bill Tirres; brother Jake Tirres, six grandchildren, Sheldon, Dylan, Rylan, Alex, Idris, and Taliesin and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Remi, and Olivia.
A celebration of life was held on May 24 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
