SPD Wives has partnered with Jeff Twitty of Boulder Designs to create a memorial bench for the victims of a shooting at a Springfield Kum & Go in 2020.
The bench is to honor the lives of Officer Christopher Walsh, who gave his life in the line of duty that night; Shannon Perkins, Waste Corp employee; Troy Rapp, Kum & Go employee; and Matthew Hicks-Morris, Kum & Go customer.
The bench is located in Jordan Valley Park across the street from Hammons Tower.
SPD Wives hope this will bring remembrance and honor for all those who lost their lives that tragic night.
