West Central Community Garden Flyer Canvassing Day

Help us invite the local neighborhood to join this fabulous community resource. We have built an amazing communal garden open to the neighborhood but many don’t yet know we’re here! Volunteers will bring flyers door to door in the area and ask local merchants for permission to display our flyer so we can spread the word. Participants will go out in teams of 2-4 so they are not ever alone. Work at your own pace and earn volunteer credit hours while helping out! Wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle and weather appropriate clothing. Abide by springfield community gardens code of conduct. Participants agree not to enter homes while canvassing the neighborhood & to stay with another volunteer at all times. Please trust your intuition, stay safe and call for help if needed. Springfield Community Gardens is not responsible for loss or personal injury of participants.
