Midtown Workshop Series: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Learn useful life skills on a variety of topics from area experts. About 865 tons of trash are deposited in the city’s landfill every day, 75 percent of which could be recycled. Laurie Duncan, Education Outreach Coordinator for the City of Springfield’s Department of Environmental Services, will share her best “trash talking” tips, including what, why and how to recycle, along with two additional R’s to put into practice — refuse and repurpose.
