In total, approximately 56,000 people participated in this year’s Birthplace of Route 66 Festival. An estimated 5,000 die hards braved the pop-up showers to watch and participate in the parade, an additional 20,000 people gathered for the show on Friday from noon to close, and about 31,000 came out today.…
