GOOD NEWS: Cherry Street is OPEN at last!
The Cherry Street Widening Project between Barnes Avenue and Oak Grove Avenue is nearing completion and the roadway has reopened to traffic. All cones and closure signage are expected to be removed by the end of this week. THANK YOU to the contractors, utility companies, Springfield Public Schools, neighborhood and traveling public for your cooperation and patience throughout the construction of this voter-approved improvement project.
