During a public meeting on Sept. 14 at The Library Station, representatives from Greenfield Environmental Trust Group, the group cleaning up the former Kerr-McGee railroad tie plant at 2800 W. High in northwest Springfield, reviewed their plans for environmental sampling. They have obtained initial results and want to share this information at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at the American Legion Hall at 2350 N. Clifton.
