Landlord Training

Community Partnership of the Ozarks and the City of Springfield are excited to offer a new format for this year’s Landlord Training. This annual program will now offer multiple sessions throughout the year, focusing on specific topics.

The second session of the 2017 Landlord Training program will feature discussion on universal design in rental properties and offer tours of Southwest Center for Independent Living’s demo apartment. Representatives from Freedom Constructors, SmithAmundson LLC, and Southwest Center for Independent Living (SCIL) will be discussing preventative property updates, project management, and handling tenant requests.

The event will be on Thursday, June 15, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the SCIL Community Room, Building B, at 1450 W. Cambridge. Tours will be available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., dinner will be offered free of charge from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., and presentations will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
