They served 75 households and we connected with a new partner through their event – Environmental & Community Action of the Ozarks (a youth-led organization focused on environmental volunteerism in the Ozarks).
Galloway Village
This was Galloway Village’s second ever cleanup event (they hosted their very first clean-up event last year). They collected 5.98 tons of trash (filled three trash dumpsters and one yardwaste dumpster), and 1.2 tons of scrap metal. Four volunteers donated 37 hours of time. They served a total of 55 households.
Grant Beach
Grant Beach was the first two-day clean-up event, and like last year, had a ton of volunteer support at their event. Thirty-three volunteers donated 192.5 hours of time (three Clean Green volunteers, 17 Victory Mission volunteers, nine from Hope Homes, one volunteer from Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and three from the neighborhood association). They collected 22.06 tons of trash (filled 12 trash dumpsters and three yardwaste dumpsters). They served 83 households (41 in-person and 42 curbside pick-ups). Victory Mission donated not only their time, but also two box trucks for curbside pick-ups.

They collected 8.32 tons of trash (filling five trash dumpsters and one yardwaste dumpster), and 0.83 tons of scrap metal. Twelve volunteers donated 59 hours of time. They collected 5.77 tons of trash (filling three trash dumpsters and one yardwaste dumpster) and 0.76 tons of scrap metal. This was a wet and rainy event, but the neighborhood came prepared with doughnuts and coffee, and East Grand Church of Christ was kind enough to allow them to use their gym and restrooms.
