Fire Department rewards students for filling out home safety surveys with rides to school

As a reward for filling out and turning in a home safety survey following Fire Prevention Month visits, firefighters offer rides to school in a fire truck. Two SPS kindergarteners and a fourth-grader won rides to school this year.

The crew from Fire Station 12 gave Wilder Elementary kindergartener Fibi Vansuimawi a ride to school Nov. 25, 2019.
Williams Elementary Fourth-grader Dakota Wolf got got a ride from Fire Station 5.
Pittman kindergartener Lyla Burkett rode to school in style with Fire Station 7.
