West Central neighbors may have noticed a new logo and lighted sign on First Baptist Church’s former activities building at Campbell Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street. The church has repurposed the building into a Community Outreach Center. The center is open to the public 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evenings for Pickleball, bowling, ping pong and billiards. It also contains a large multipurpose room and smaller fireside room. To find out how you can be involved in these activities or use the rooms for meetings, please contact church liaison David J.
