Do you know a high school sophomore or junior who wants to explore future careers? The Greater Ozarks Centers for Advanced Professional Studies (GO CAPS) is a great way for students to dive into the workplace and get a better idea of employment opportunities available down the road. There are five broad areas of study available:
- Medicine & Health Care
- Engineering & Manufacturing
- Business & Entrepreneurship
- IT & Software Solutions
- Teacher Education
Exposing students to careers now helps prepare them for future academic choices, like whether they should enter the workforce directly after high school, pursue a certification or associate’s degree, or attend a four-year college. GO CAPS is taking applications for the 2019-20 school year until Feb. 28. Visit the GO CAPS website to learn more about the program and encourage a student you know to apply today!
