Terry Diane Cornio, 62, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, surrounded by family at her home. Terry had served as secretary of the Robberson Neighborhood Association.
Terry was born Feb. 20, 1958 in Springfield to the late Alberta Diane Luallen. She became an LPN in 1984 and worked extensively with adults with disabilities. As president of the Adult Day Care Association and a volunteer in her local community, she was passionate about advocating for those who needed it the most. She absolutely loved the fair, cooking, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Robert Cornio; son Jason and daughter-in-law Dana Howard of Willard; daughter Misty and son-in-law David Thomas of Springfield; daughter Brandi and son-in-law Cody Wage of Springfield; son Maxwell Cornio of Springfield. Five grandchildren: Layla Howard, Ethan Howard, Fischer Wrenn, Audrey Thomas, and Elijah Thomas. Two brothers Frank Bedwell and Ricky Duran; an aunt; In-laws; several cousins; and many friends.
A celebration of life was held at her church, Pathways United Methodist Church on Jan. 23.
