On Veterans Day, Saturday Nov. 11, a Blackhawk helicopter will be visiting the Phelps Grove neighborhood at Missouri State University. MSU will be hosting the Blackhawk on Lot 24 from approximately 9:30 a.m. until the beginning of the football game at 2 p.m. Lot 24 is located east of Dollison at the corner of Dollison and Grand.
If you missed this last year, try to stop by this time to see the helicopter as well as a chance to talk with the personnel who will be on site. It will be a great opportunity to hear about the job these folks do.
The Golden Wings parachute team will also be “dropping in” to the stadium, bringing the game ball and the flag for the opening of the football game.
