Hold onto your hats, folks, because the Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association is on fire, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon! We kicked things off in April with a joint neighborhood cleanup that had everyone rolling up their sleeves to make the community shine. Not content with just one event, we followed up with a litter pickup at McDaniel Park, showing our commitment to keeping our green spaces clean and beautiful. And we didn’t stop there! In May, another litter pickup at McDaniel Park showed our dedication to keeping the momentum going. Plus, we hosted a pizza party along with valuable BDS (Building Development Services) information, proving we know how to mix fun with important community updates.
As summer heated up in June, we threw a Summer Bash at McDaniel Park, ensuring that everyone had a blast under the sun.
There’s more excitement on the horizon: Mark your calendars for the Harvest Potluck and presentation on Aug. 28, where you can enjoy delicious food and learn about what’s next for the neighborhood. On Sept. 7, we will help with the Messiah Lutheran Church Neighborhood Cleanup. Get ready for Lantern Walk, board member elections, and Halloween Trunk or Treat in October – a perfect opportunity to stroll under the stars, have your voice heard in shaping your neighborhood’s future, and provide a safe Halloween alternative event. The Bass Pro Cheering Challenge is coming up in November, and the Dancing Pickles are gearing up for a rip-roaring good time!
And guess what? The Seminole Holland Neighborhood Association wants to hear from YOU! If you’ve got ideas for activities or events, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Board at SeminoleHolland@gmail.com or attend one of their exciting board meetings, always open to the public. Get involved, get excited, say hi to a neighbor, and let’s keep the energy going in Seminole Holland!
