On Tuesday, Aug. 8, the Brentwood Neighborhood hosted a Summer Party to celebrate the installation of the new playground equipment at Kirkwood Park. The association participated in the Neighborhood Works grant program and earned $100,000, which was used to purchase and install the new equipment. Due to Covid-related delays, there was much anticipation around the installation and the new equipment is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The Summer Party included a food truck, music, lawn games, and an opportunity to experience the new equipment and build community.
