The West Central Neighborhood Alliance is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new walking club, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
West Central Walking Club Kickoff: 6 p.m., March 19 at Redeemer Church, 845 S. Fort Ave.
Join us for our inaugural walk on the third Tuesday of every month, starting on March 19. We’ll be meeting at a different location each month and setting off at 6 p.m. for a leisurely stroll around our beautiful neighborhood. Watch the West Central Neighborhood Alliance Facebook page for each month’s location.
What’s on the agenda?
- Trash cleanup: Let’s make our neighborhood shine! Bring a bag, and let’s make a positive impact together.
- Outreach and networking: Connect with fellow neighbors, share stories, and foster a stronger sense of community.
- Safety and security: We’ll be paying attention to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) guidelines, identifying areas for improvement to enhance safety.
Why join the West Central Walking Club?
- Contribute to a cleaner and safer neighborhood.
- Build connections with neighbors and make new friends.
- Stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
- Make a difference in our community.
We anticipate the walk to last about an hour, giving us plenty of time to chat, clean up, and observe our neighborhood. Spread the word, invite your neighbors, and let’s make the West Central Walking Club a fantastic community initiative!
