For adults in the Santa Fe Room. Dr. Phillip Howerton, professor of English at Missouri State University-West Plains, will present a survey of two centuries including the role of stereotypes and traditional regional traits. He will explore several prevalent themes in Ozarks literature to highlight connections with the region’s history and the larger body of American literature.
